JSON API is, like OData, a framework on top of the web API standards that allows to define API’s in a more standardized way. JSON API is designed to reduce the number of requests & to minimize the total amount of data to be transferred. In the .NET world an implementation requires a number of .NET core libraries to be able to efficiently work with them.
The goal of the study is to evaluate how the JSON API standards allow to define clear and efficient services
